This is an Authentic Scale Model Steam Valve. This little valve has a nice appearance and is quality manufactured in the United States. It looks and works just like its full-size predecessor. Cast bronze valve and Stamped USA on the Valve Body. Thread size is 1/8” 27 TPI Pipe and can be used for Steam Service.
Valve Dimensions are 1 1/8" from inlet to outlet, approximate overall width with handle is 1 1/2" or so and overall height with handle is just less than 2 1/4".
These Whistle Valves are Hydroed to 150 psig on water and are used in steam service up to 100 psig.
These New Valves are what we call "Locomotive Jewelry" and are truly ornate. We use these on Our 1/2", 1", 1~1/2" and 3" Scale Steam Locomotives and Boilers and they work and the appearance is great.
